This is an invitation for all.

Differently-abled youth and adults

The Archdiocese of Manila Office for Persons with Disabilities Ministries (AMO-PDM) will spearhead the 9th year celebration of Persons with Disabilities Day on December 7, 2008, Sunday from 6am to 5pm at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati. We are expecting around 2,000 differently- abled youth and adults and are in need of at least 1000 volunteers to run the whole event. For this reason, we are inviting you to help us as volunteer facilitators.

It is our desire that we extend our awareness and ministry to our differently abled brethren, who are less attended to, if not, neglected, because of their situation.

We need volunteers’ ages 16 years old and above. We also require them to attend an orientation in preparation for this event. First time volunteers will have an orientation at 1pm while Repeat Volunteers will have their orientation at 4pm both on November 22, 2008, Saturday at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati City. December 6, 2007 will be the General Assembly of all volunteers at the same venue. The time will depend on what have been discussed during the orientation. Everybody is required to attend for final briefing and instructions from their respective committees.

If your organization is interested to participate in this event and you would not be able to attend the orientation, we can organize one for you. Kindly get in touch with the undersigned at DBTI Makati Alumni office at 02- 817-3738 or text at 0918-6493815.

In Christ,

Juvy R. Montalbo
Volunteers’ Committee Head
