The Next White Castle Girl
The next rider to watch out for in Philippine television will be chosen via a reality-search among 12 young ladies from all over the Philippines. The search kicked off last July 7 and will be aired every Saturday night for the whole month of July on ABS-CBN.
“The concept of the model is really my dad’s concept. During his time—it was a dream, it was a vision—he dreamt that he saw this girl in a red bikini riding a horse with a castle background. “I believe that it was very symbolic. Of course, the girl in a bikini represents the fantasy of every man, a beautiful woman riding a horse. The horse is the symbol of masculinity and the castle is the symbol of success. So all of these things are symbol of success that a woman wants and a man wants in a life.” Says Distilleria Limtuaco president Olivia Limpe-aw,
As I was watching the show last saturday night however, i found myself rolling on the floor laughing with their antics and bloopers kasadya. I was expecting it to be a beauty pageant-like search but it’s actually more of an adventure challenge to be conquered by the bold and the beautiful. They had unique challenges like riding a horse, white water rafting, one girl was even kicked by the horse, another girl even was thrown off during the white water rafting challenge, im not sure though if it was all for the love of the rum. Stardom awaits for the girl with the most beautiful face and an unperturbed grace under pressure. ‘Nuf talk, I’m sure you guys would rather want to see them hehe.
