Movie Trailers

Anyone here who found themselves watching trailers of movies they’re planning to watch or checking for upcoming movies? Or in rare cases for the movies that you may have missed.

I was trying to check for some movies earlier from the web that are currently shown in SM Megamall. Since we have this complimentary tickets from the last movie we saw, I thought of seeing one this weekend so I could at least have a little relaxation from a very busy week in the office. Then I found myself checking out the trailer for the Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix movie. And I was…oh no, I wouldn’t want to miss watching this one. I was like, Harry doesn’t have an untidy hair any more and Professor Umbridge isn’t what I have imagined her from reading the book. I’m hoping that this movie will not be a big diaspppointment. :)

And then I saw Stardust. Neil Gaiman’s work of art. It’s based on a book of the same title. It seems a nice movie too plus they have a great cast like Charlie Cox, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro to name a few. Its a romance, fantasy and a bit of action rolled into one. And then there’s Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End. I like Johnny Depp ’cause he’s one good actor. Like the other two installments and any movie or television series produced by Jerry Bruckheimer I’ve seen so far, they are really good. Aye, Captain!

Then I was thrown back to my teenage days with Nancy Drew. Which reminds me… Anyway, it may be fun to watch this just for kicks. I see that Ned, Bess and George are there too. :) And then I remember checking out Music and Lyrics… Yes, I know they’ve already shown it eons ago. But hey, I got stuck singing “Way back into Love” in the office because of the dang MP3 my boss sent me. Why didn’t I watch this movie anyway, oh yeah, ’cause 300 was beeing screened at that time too I remember.

What’s shown right now that I’m interested in seeing are SHREK 3 and Lucky You. Based from the reviews, Shrek 3 seemed to be fun and hilarious as always. But for Lucky you, there were mixed reviews. I wanted so much to have a good laugh but I think I want to see Drew. Pangga, what do you think? :)
