300
Over the weekend, my roommate and I went to watch our most awaited movie, 300. Though I had decided to spend less on movies, sad to say I wasn’t able to stop meself from watching.
300 was based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller. It’s about the 300 Spartan soldiers who fought with the Persians who wanted to conquer Greece. Leonidas was the king of Sparta at that time and Xerxes was on the side of the Persians. I wouldn’t want to delve much on what happened in the movie since I wouldn’t want to spoil it for you in case you haven’t watch it yet but are planning to. I can tell you that this is an excellent one. Nice cinematography - may pagka sepia - comics ang dating. Parang ‘yong movie na Sin City ,better nga lang. And you wouldn’t feel icky since as far as I remember there were no gory scenes. (Even Kuya Leo would be able to appreciate it, I hope.)
I also liked some of the lines from the movie, galing eh - may conviction ba… Like “This is Sparta!” and “Eat a hearty meal men. Tonight we dine in hell!” which were both from King Leonidas. From his wife, “Because only Spartan women can give birth to real men” (girl power, ito!). I keep hearing it in my head for two days. Gusto ko tuloy panoorin ulit.
Aside from King Leonidas which I couldn’t stop meself from gawking at (hehehe!!!) , I was also enchanted by the beauty of the Oracle. Whew! Wish I could have a slender and lithe body as hers. Sigurado di na mapapalingon sa iba si Pangga. (Haay, suntok sa buwan.)
The movie is oozing with sex appeal and testoterone madness ito - for the girls. And for the guys, war tactics. Para din nga akong nanuod ng game na nilalaro ni Pangga. 
Watch 300, you won’t regret watching it.
